A Placeit alternative for AI mockup videos
Placeit is the place to drop a design onto a mockup or a video template and download it. If you want a Placeit alternative that makes the video itself, SuperReels generates a short vertical mockup video from a photo of your product: worn by a model, held up to camera, poured or used, with the camera moving through the scene.
Your first mockup video is free. No card needed.

Choose Placeit if
- You need static mockups, logos or flyers in volume, especially as a print-on-demand seller.
- You want unlimited downloads for one low flat price, and template videos where you edit the text and colours.
- You need landscape or square formats, or a stock music library.
Choose SuperReels if
- You want a mockup video where your product moves: worn, turned, poured or used, not a still design sliding across a template.
- You want vertical ads and reels for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook that do not look like a template other sellers also used.
- You have a product photo, not a flat design file.
Start from a tested template
Every one turns your own photos and a few details into a finished video. Open one to see what it asks for.
Clothing ads with callouts: your garment or shoe on a model, thin-line labels pointing at its features, and a summary shot, matched to your own product photos.
An AI lookbook from five outfit photos: one model wears a different look for each weekday under a day caption, ending on your brand name. Fifteen seconds.
A virtual try-on video in get-ready-with-me style: your outfit worn by the model you choose, in the room you choose, finished with a pose. Fifteen seconds.
Product video ads in ten seconds: the problem, the reveal, features and an end card, built from photos of your product. Ready for TikTok, Reels and Facebook.
A soft, premium skincare ad for any beauty, haircare or wellness product, matched to your product photos. Ten seconds, no captions, ready for Reels and TikTok.
Template mockups or generated mockup videos
Placeit's mockups are photographs and animations made in advance; you place your design into them. That is fast and predictable, and with a huge library you can usually find a shirt, mug or poster in the right colour. The trade-off is that every seller with the same template gets the same shot.
SuperReels generates the scene from your photo. A shirt is worn by a model you choose, in a setting you choose, with callouts on the features you name. Because it is generated, no two videos are the same, and the product does not have to be a flat print area: shoes, bottles, food and rooms work too.
Using both
Plenty of sellers will keep a flat-rate mockup library for static listing images and add short generated videos for ads and reels. If that is you, keep Placeit for the stills and make the motion here from your product photos.
How it works
- 1Pick a templateEach one is written for one kind of video and tested on real product photos before it goes live.
- 2Add your photo and a few detailsUpload a photo of your product from your phone and answer a few questions in plain words. There is no prompt to write.
- 3Post itA vertical 9:16 video arrives in a few minutes with no watermark, ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook.
