A Pictory alternative for videos of your own product

If you are looking for a Pictory alternative to make product videos, the main difference is the starting point. Pictory turns a script, article or URL into an edited video built from stock footage; SuperReels turns a photo of your product into a short vertical video where your product is the subject of every shot.

Your first mockup video is free. No card needed.

Choose Pictory if

  • You make long landscape videos, such as explainers, YouTube videos or training, where an hour or more of runtime matters.
  • You already have scripts, blog posts or slides and want them turned into video with stock footage and a voiceover.
  • You want voice cloning, custom avatars or several seats for a team.

Choose SuperReels if

  • Your product has to be in the video, worn, held, poured or used, rather than stock footage that resembles it.
  • You need short vertical ads and reels for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or Facebook.
  • You would rather fill in a few details than write a script.

Start from a tested template

Every one turns your own photos and a few details into a finished video. Open one to see what it asks for.

10 details10sProduct adProduct ad

Product video ads in ten seconds: the problem, the reveal, features and an end card, built from photos of your product. Ready for TikTok, Reels and Facebook.

9 details10sCreator demoCreator demo

A UGC product demo video filmed like a creator at home: your product held up to camera, close-ups of it working, the result and a call to action.

8 details10sFashion calloutsFashion callouts

Clothing ads with callouts: your garment or shoe on a model, thin-line labels pointing at its features, and a summary shot, matched to your own product photos.

8 details10sBeauty product adBeauty product ad

A soft, premium skincare ad for any beauty, haircare or wellness product, matched to your product photos. Ten seconds, no captions, ready for Reels and TikTok.

Stock footage or your own product

Pictory's strength is speed from words: paste a script or a link and it assembles scenes from a large stock library, adds a voiceover and captions, and gives you an editor to adjust it. That suits content where the footage illustrates the words.

A product ad works the other way round. The viewer needs to see the exact thing you sell, so SuperReels starts from your product photo and generates every shot around it: the garment on a model, the serum in soft light, the dish being plated. The product keeps its shape, colour and label as closely as the model allows.

Using both

They do not have to compete. Many sellers make a longer explainer or tutorial in a script-to-video tool and use short vertical clips for ads and reels. If that is you, make the long video where you already do, and make the 10 or 15 second product clips here from the same product photos.

How it works

  1. 1Pick a templateEach one is written for one kind of video and tested on real product photos before it goes live.
  2. 2Add your photo and a few detailsUpload a photo of your product from your phone and answer a few questions in plain words. There is no prompt to write.
  3. 3Post itA vertical 9:16 video arrives in a few minutes with no watermark, ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook.

Questions

Is SuperReels a direct Pictory replacement?

Only for short product videos. SuperReels does not turn scripts or articles into long videos, add stock footage or clone voices. It makes 10 or 15 second vertical videos of your own product from a photo.

How does pricing compare?

Pictory's paid plans started at $29 a month ($25 billed annually) when we checked on 4 October 2026. SuperReels prices are in the table above, read live from our plans, and your first video is free.

Do I need a script?

No. You choose a template and fill in a few details such as the product, who uses it and the setting. The prompt underneath is already written and tested.

Can I make landscape videos?

No. Every SuperReels video is vertical 9:16. If you need landscape, a tool like Pictory is the better fit.
